Fall Internship with Congressman Roskam

Midwestern Republican Congressman seeks highly motivated, detail oriented, and energetic individuals for Fall 2018 open internship positions. Responsibilities include answering telephones, logging constituent opinions, leading Capitol tours, assisting members of senior staff with administrative tasks, and ad hoc projects. Qualified candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, should be team oriented and highly organized, and resourceful. Prior Hill experience is not required. Illinois ties are a plus.

The Winter/Spring  Experience   Fund   Application deadline has been extended to Wednesday, November 28th. Apply ASAP! The BSOS Undergraduate Experience funds assist undergraduate BSOS majors engaged in experiential learning outside the classroom, such as unpaid internships, research, service learning, and professional or academic conferences. The funds are intended to help offset expenses related to such activities like travel/transportation expenses, professional attire, and other opportunity costs.
